The EIBA Annual Conference provides the main networking event and focal point for EIBA members past, present, and future. Typically held in early to mid-December in various European locations (and occasionally outside Europe), this international conference features paper presentations, workshops, sessions and panels on new and on-going research and practice, inviting the free exchange of ideas & open discussion by academics, young scholars, and professionals alike – a must-attend congress for anyone seriously interested & involved in the field of International Business (IB).
EIBA organises an Annual Conference that is hosted each year by a major European university (usually in early to mid-December). As pre-conference activities, a Doctoral Tutorial and most recently a Doctoral Symposium for PhD students are organised. A series of prestigious awards is presented during the EIBA Annual Conference, such as the Danny Van Den Bulcke Prize for the best conference paper, the Gunnar Hedlund Award for the best doctoral dissertation, the Copenhagen Business School Prize for the best paper written by a young scholar in International Business, the EIBA Best Doctoral Thesis Proposal in IB Award for the most promising paper presented at the John H. Dunning Doctoral Tutorial, the IBR Best Journal Paper of the Year Award, and the EIBA Distinguished Honorary Fellowship Award. (Note that not all awards and prizes are presented annually.)
